July 2002 saw a change in directorship of the company. The owners of the trading name Jomar Diagnostics transferred the name and the business to new directors, Andrew Chittleborough and Rodney Ellis. The new Directors kept the name but modified it to Jomar Diagnostics Pty Ltd. All other  details of the company continue to function without change or fuss. This allowed for continuity of supply, agencies and distributorships.

Jomar Diagnostics opened its doors for business in 1986, acting as the local distributor for companies such as Australian Laboratory Services Pty. Ltd, BioScientific Pty. Ltd. catering primarily for the clinical laboratories in South Australia. As time went by we expanded to cover research, environmental, industrial and food and beverage laboratories. We were also appointed distributors for  Brand Scientific, Edward Keller Medical, Fronine, Gradipore, Hastings Dataloggers, Monarch Medical, Techno-Plas and  Trace Scientific. 

In 1995, we formed an alliance with three interstate companies to strengthen our position in the South Australian and Australian market. A year later a fifth company joined the alliance to further strengthen the national coverage. Member details can be found under the heading of "Agencies". This Alliance has major benefits for our customers by way of:

• Access to a wider selection of quality products.
• Somebody local to talk to about products and to provide demonstrations.
• Friendly, efficient and courteous service with small company commitment and yet all the benefits and backing of a large organisation.
• Savings where greater purchasing power and cost efficiencies can be passed on to our valued customers.
